Teratoma: Here's to 24

A poetry collection about the one who got away.

These twenty-four poems trace the arc of a friendship that felt like forever: the innocence of being sixteen and walking nowhere together, the matching smiles and inside jokes, the way families intertwined until her family became yours too. But also the slow unraveling. The silence that replaced conversations. The day you realized she'd stopped choosing you. The moment you let her go because loving her meant setting her free.

From "Things I Wish I Said" to "I Want Her Happy," this collection holds nothing back—the love, the grief, the anger, the gratitude. It's for anyone who's lost a person they thought would be in their life forever. For anyone who's had to learn that some love doesn't end—it just changes shape.

"Teratoma" means the twin that stays inside. These poems are proof that some people never really leave. They become part of you. Curled in your bones. Waiting.

Here's to twenty-four poems.
