MAN FROM AN INVERTED TIME is a metaphysical and historical novel that follows one consciousness as it is reborn across seven key moments in 7,000 years of Sudanese history. From the priests of Kush, to Mahdist warriors, to exiles in modern Cairo, the protagonist carries the same wound: the fracture between homeland and self.
