At nine, Alma Reyes survived the exorcism. The demon never left.

Thirty‑five years later, Alma is a locksmith in the Bronx, living by one rule: never go back to the Brooklyn house where it happened. Where her possessed child's hands killed her little brother.

Then a boy she has never met slips a drawing under her door — Alma as a child, carried off by a faceless man. On the back, in handwriting she knows from her nightmares: "He's awake. Come finish the game."

Inside the old brownstone, a family is coming apart. Their eight‑year‑old son talks to a friend no one can see — Mister Nobody — and the nursery rhyme the neighborhood children never dared finish is one line from its end.

To save the boy, Alma has to go back. And face what the exorcism hid from her: the demon was never cast out. It was locked away. Inside her.

A visceral descent into possession, grief, and dread.

Don't invite him in.
