Family is supposed to be the one thing you can trust. But when money, jealousy, women, and the streets get involved, blood can become your biggest enemy.

In the summer of 2006, nineteen-year-old André leaves Philadelphia and heads to Texas, stepping into a completely different world with his older cousin Jaron. At first, it feels like family—late nights, fast cars, women, hustling, and dreams of making real money. Jaron introduces André to the streets, but André quickly proves that he doesn’t need much teaching.

As André’s name grows and his money begins to stack, the relationship between the cousins slowly changes. What starts as loyalty turns into competition. Admiration becomes envy. Small favors begin to come with a price, and the same cousin who opened the door for André may not be ready to watch him become the bigger man.

Surrounded by hustlers, dangerous opportunities, complicated women, and decisions that can change their lives overnight, André and Jaron are forced to discover how far family loyalty really goes when everybody wants something.
