When forensic-media specialist Dana Weller and her team reopen a series of cold Halloween fires, the surviving evidence refuses to agree. A scorched Super 8 reel. A child’s photographs. Thirteen minutes of damaged cassette audio. Each source preserves a different version of the same night.
