A family raised for public consumption discovers that leaving is the only unrecordable act left.

For eighteen nights, a masked host broadcasts the mystery of Twodaughter and BroTwo — the young couple who vanished from Cam-A-Lot, the most watched house in the world. The audience votes. The theories multiply. The truth stays out of reach.

But the mystery didn't begin with a disappearance. It began decades earlier, with a clever girl, a singing boy, and a deal struck in the dark.

The Leaving is a modern fable in eighteen episodes — about fame, privacy, and what remains when the cameras stop. For readers of Klara and the Sun, The Employees, and Piranesi.

"A person is the part that cannot be kept from leaving.”
