Malik arrives on St. Croix with a single suitcase and a desperate hope. He has come to find the woman he lost three years ago. He has come to prove that love can be rebuilt.

Selina has built a new life on the island. A job. Friends. A routine. She has almost healed. Almost forgotten. Almost moved on.

When Malik finds her, the old patterns return. The suspicion. The withdrawal. The infidelity. The cycle of hurt and reconciliation that nearly destroyed them before. They love each other. They cannot be together. They cannot let each other go.

Set against the turquoise waters and rust colored roofs of St. Croix, Island Of Almost is a story about the space between love and loss. About the people we cannot forget and the patterns we cannot break. About learning to carry the weight of what might have been.

For anyone who has ever loved someone they could not stay with. For anyone who has ever stayed.

Almost is not a tragedy. Almost is just almost.
