I'm not in the habit of keeping a diary, but I feel it's necessary to record these events. I'm currently at the law office on Yongning Street. It's a gloomy summer afternoon-it feels as if the whole sky is about to collapse. Many people assume the street's name derives from the idea of "eternal tranquility and harmony." But as someone directly involved, I'm not so bored as to document the domestic harmony and happy lives found on this street. To me, what Yongning Street truly conveys is a state of perpetual unrest.
