Timothy Richards has everything going for him; intelligence, wit, good looks and charm. But raised in a loveless home and left without moral guidance, he has learned to rely on manipulation rather than integrity, using his charm to swindle the young and naïve. For a time, the strategy serves him well—until one critical mistake shatters the life he has carefully constructed. The consequences change the trajectory of his life, a circumstance God uses for a greater purpose. The story depicts some harsh realities of a life lived without God, both for the deceiver as well as the deceived. It speaks of a God willing to leave the 99 and search for the lost one while making clear that choosing God must be done on His terms and dishonesty will have to be left behind. The trade-off becomes worth it when Timothy comes to realize that living in truth is indeed the only environment where the human spirit can thrive.
