A relentless demon.

A legendary treasure.

A fanatical Puritan.

In 1655, colonial America is still a fledgling endeavor, but the fabled treasure of the Templar Knights has already been hidden in the New World for three hundred years. Now settler expansion threatens that secret, and a series of revelations launches a race between an excommunicated Catholic cardinal with a supernatural power and a fire-and-brimstone Puritan demon hunter to find the clues and uncover the whereabouts of an unimaginable fortune-a fortune that will change the course of mankind if it falls into the wrong hands. The Puritan cannot allow that-will not allow that at any cost!
