I'd wanted the professor for a while. That's why I was failing class. I spent more time staring at her than the algebra equations she wrote on the board. I'd thought she didn't notice, but I was very wrong. When I ran into her at the restaurant that afternoon, she wanted to talk about my grades, but when I made her an offer, she decided to give me a private tutoring lesson at her place. That's when I found out there's no such thing as an easy A.
