Zelos and Ado’s hopes for a quick and easy journey are dashed when Solas, a powerful Observer from another world, tasks them with venturing into the mountains to slay a dragon, retrieve its life energy, and use that energy to help revive Alphia Magus, the Dark God.

Defeating a dragon is a tall order at the best of times, though—and this is no ordinary dragon. What’s it going to take for Zelos and Ado to get out of this one?

Back in Santor, a potion-making session gone awry results in some crazy new concoctions that could be dangerous in the wrong hands or life-changing in the right ones; a local fisherman, devastated by losing the love of his life, sets out to find the truth; and a threat far more familiar than any dragon closes in on her target. It doesn’t look like things will slow down anytime soon!
