The Weight Of An Unspoken Word: Martin Cooper is a successful architect who designs glass towers for corporations, living a hollow life with a fiancée he doesn't love. Lisa Reed is a gifted book restorer trapped in a safe relationship with a man who saved her during a crisis. Both are going through the motions of lives that look perfect but feel empty.

Then they meet on the Belmont Royal Scotsman, a luxury train travelling through the Scottish Highlands.

Over three days of conversation in rain-streaked observation cars and visits to a remote stone cottage, Martin and Lisa recognise something profound in each other. A connection that transcends their circumstances. A glimpse of who they could become if they were brave enough to choose differently.

They make a pact: meet in six months at the Custom House Tower in Boston. Six months to honourably untangle their lives and prove their connection wasn't just "train magic" that will fade in daylight.
