In the new Jim Crow era - where the sons of the crack epidemic fill prison beds and the 13th Amendment keeps legalized slavery alive - J. S. Russell discover a weapon more powerful than bar, bullets or time: his pen.

Writing Freedom, Volume 3 cracks opens the mind of a man convicted of murder - a man who refuses to be defined by a single moment. Through raw poetry, unfiltered reflections, confessions, dreams, hope, and the quiet romances that kept him human, Russell reveals what survival really looks like on the inside.

It isn't just prison poetry.

This is transformation.

This is truth.

This is what freedom sounds like when the world tries to silence you.

Step inside the walls.

Feel the weight.

Witness the rise.
