Private investigator Eddie Fisk thought he was looking into a routine missing-person case.

When a respected New Orleans doctor vanishes, Eddie is hired to find him. The investigation leads from the fog-shrouded streets of the French Quarter to the doorstep of a secretive company known as The Siebenkäs Group.

What begins as a search for a missing man quickly becomes a deadly game involving murder, revenge, and identities that can no longer be trusted. As people die and danger closes in, Eddie finds himself forced to confront a terrifying question:

If someone can create a perfect copy of a human being, what happens when the copy decides it no longer wants to live in the shadow of its creator?

Set against the haunted beauty of New Orleans, Hi Strangeness blends hard-boiled detective fiction, asupernatural atmosphere, and speculative suspense into a mystery where the truth is stranger, and far more dangerous, than anyone imagined.
