Two jilted lovers find a second chance at love...

Life is not a bed of roses for Lexie Forbes. Abandoned both by her husband and her lover, she resigns herself to a quiet life with her two young children. Until one day, everything changes. Her husband dies suddenly, leaving both his fortune and children in the guardianship of his best friend, Philip Templeton.

Philip Templeton has lived a rakish life of hedonistic pleasure, but at nearly forty, he finds himself unaccountably dissatisfied. He resolves to marry, only to find himself jilted by his intended. And then to make matters worse, he is saddled with the guardianship of his friend's two young children. Not to mention the fact that the children's mother is not best pleased about it!

Mr Templeton Finds Himself a Wife is a spin-off novella from The Stanton Legacy series. You do not have to have read the other books in the series to enjoy this novella. Set in Victorian England, this book is a steamy romance written for a mature audience. Although this is a male/female romance, there is one consensual polyamorous scene.
