Hands in the Clay by Joanne Starr

Tina is a 42-year-old pottery instructor who likes her life steady, predictable, and quiet. Sage is 21 and not sure what she is looking for. When they meet in an evening community pottery class, neither of them expects more than conversation and clay-stained hands.

What begins as easy talk and shared work at the wheel slowly shifts into something warmer and far more dangerous. Lingering glances turn into long conversations after class. Small touches start to mean too much. And before either of them is ready to admit it, the space between them is filled with a tension neither can ignore.

Both women have complicated lives and unfinished relationships behind them, and crossing that line could cost more than either of them wants to risk. But some connections refuse to stay quiet, no matter how carefully you try to shape them.

Hands in the Clay is a slow-burn, age-gap F/F romance about restraint, longing, and the moment two adults decide whether to keep pretending they're fine, or finally choose what they want.

Expect emotional tension, intimate atmosphere, and a romantic, hopeful payoff.
