You Are My Sunshine is a gentle, faith-filled poem from a parent’s heart to the children God has given us to love. In simple, soothing rhyme, it celebrates the dreams we carry before our children arrive, the light they bring into our days, and the steady comfort of God’s presence in every season of life.

Paired with warm, watercolor scenes of sunlit fields, tall sunflowers, sheltering trees, and starry skies, this book invites families to slow down, snuggle close, and remember that every child is a precious gift from God.

This is a story to read at bedtime, on hard days and happy days, as you whisper together: “Thank You, God, for this beautiful life, and for the sunshine You’ve placed in our hearts.
