A journey of self-imposed isolation on a lonely island is shattered by the sudden intrusion of violent outsiders. What begins as a quest for peace ends in a desperate struggle for survival and a rare moment of spiritual connection. The narrative beautifully captures the impossibility of remaining a spectator in a world of active cruelty.
