Christina, a refined young woman of peace, is thrust into the violent and lawless world of a mountain fortress ruled by robber barons. Her struggle to maintain her gentleness amidst the predatory culture of the "eagle’s nest" becomes a battle for the moral survival of her children. This medieval tale is a striking contrast between the brutality of the sword and the persistent, healing power of grace. It is a timeless story of a woman’s quiet strength changing the course of a family’s destiny.
