A young man endowed with Herculean strength must learn that his greatest challenge is not physical, but moral, as he strives to live up to a high ideal. His journey through a series of modern trials becomes a "faded photograph" of ancient heroism, adapted for the complexities of the 19th century. This unique character study explores the burden of being exceptional and the struggle to find a place in a world that fears power. It is a thoughtful and creative investigation into the nature of true nobility.
