Yearning for the simple life, a grand duchess trades her crown for a cottage, only to find the rustic ideal is a myth. Mud, misunderstandings, and village politics quickly replace her romanticized notions of poverty. Her royal flight into obscurity becomes a lesson in the inescapable nature of one’s origins. This satire playfully pokes at the privileged fantasy of the "simple life."
