FINALIST-Best Thriller of the Year 2024

Where silence hides the guilty and the past bleeds into the present, one man lights a match that could set the world ablaze.

In the ruins of memory, Mathieu James carries the weight of a city lost to fire and fear. The 2005 London bombings stole his parents, and with them, his peace. Yet beneath his polished life as a journalist lies another truth: he carries a non-official cover for the CIA, forged in silence, defined by loss.

A decade later, a whisper resurfaces, one that speaks of a fifth bomber, a ghost erased from history. When a new wave of terror strikes Paris, the pattern is unmistakable. Someone wants to finish what began years ago.

Across continents and into chaos, from the glittery sheen of Los Angeles to the haunting mist of Edinburgh, James races through cities burning with secrets toward a conspiracy engineered for global devastation. Alongside fearless reporter Ana-Marie Poulin and battle-hardened MI5 agent Conan MacGregor, James steps into a maze of betrayal where truth demands blood.

With Scotland on the brink of chaos and the answers elusive, James confronts what he's spent a lifetime chasing: expose the face behind the terror or become its final victim.

The Scotland Project is an explosive exploration of vengeance, loyalty, and the weight of truth carved in blood. Because in a world built on lies, the truth is never pure, and never safe. Perfect for fans of Baldacci, Flynn, Clancy and Carr.
