In a small American town preparing for the holidays, the Senior family heads out with a simple plan: find a Christmas tree, bring it home, decorate it, and carry on with their traditions. They are not looking for anything unusual. They certainly are not expecting to question what Christmas means to them. But the tree they chose isn't the tallest or the fullest. It leans slightly. Its branches are uneven. It doesn't stand out—at least not at first. Yet once it's inside their living room, it begins to stir conversations the family didn't know they needed to have. As the season unfolds, each member of the Senior family faces a quiet struggle—disappointment, pride, regret, and the difficulty of putting someone else first. The little tree remains a steady presence throughout, witnessing arguments, reconciliations, laughter, and unexpected acts of generosity. The Little Christmas Tree is a thoughtful holiday story for children ages 6–12.
