Why does a house fall down? Because it forgot where it started.

In Bernie Builds a Bottom Up House, Cassondra Bowden introduces children to the essential concept of Structural Integrity. While others are busy painting the shutters and choosing the curtains, Bernie knows that a true Sanctuary begins deep underground.

This story is a tactical manual for the human spirit, disguised as a charming builder's tale. It mirrors the Body foundation of the Triangle of Restoration, teaching children (ages 6-8) that we must regulate our physical selves before we can house our big emotions. It is a foundational text for any child's library, ensuring their First Den is built on a rock that won't shake.
