In a city that forgot its children, Lily learned to rule the shadows.

At eighteen, she inherits more than an orphanage.

She inherits a territory.

Known on the streets only as Shadow, Lily commands four fractured zones of an underground empire — each one defined by survival, addiction, and power.

North grows green.

South moves white.

West numbs the pain.

East buries the lost.

Every block is business.

Every alliance is temporary.

Every step could be her last.

Raised among the abandoned, Lily turns loyalty into currency and strategy into survival. But when rival crews, betrayal, and law enforcement close in, she must decide what kind of ruler she will become:

Protector…

Predator…

or casualty.

Through a Mind Field is a gritty, cinematic urban thriller about power, resilience, and the cost of building an empire when the world expects you to disappear.
