Ben, Fuku, and Taro are separated—reluctantly. Circumstance and the choices they make pull them onto different paths.

Ben is pushed forward through strange and horrific trials under the guidance of the very goddess who cursed him—or at least what remains of her. She's a confusing enigma, and hopefully has his best interests at heart.

Fuku finds himself navigating a city far more devious than he'd hoped. Without Ben's strength to rely on, he must quickly adapt to complete his goal—which has changed dramatically.

And Taro is left alone and vulnerable—torn from the support that kept him safe.

As the struggle to free the enslaved Beast-kin deepens, each of them is tested in ways they were never meant to face alone.

Their bond is strained—but not broken. Reuniting becomes the goal.

But can they find their way back to each other while still fighting for everyone else?
