When the world suddenly goes to hell

Nobody expects a zombie apocalypse!

It's only supposed to happen in movies and tv.

But on her way home from a late night working on the school paper, seventeen year old Emma finds out that nightmares are real.

Her family is gone, and so is most of her town, and she's on the run from a horror she can barely understand.

An accidental run in with the jock who used to bully her and his favorite target turns a trio of outcasts into survivors as they have to learn to get along if they plan to stay alive.
