The four of them thought they were finally getting a normal night. They were wrong.
Vren, Katokime, Lokosima, and Sanatori are still trying to survive academy life, their strange powers, and—most importantly—each other. But when something ancient takes notice of Vren, their world suddenly becomes much bigger than they ever imagined.
A mysterious encounter leads them toward a kingdom hidden beneath the dark, where they discover a power far beyond anything they have faced before.
There, they will meet a King who has been waiting.
A King with a secret.
A kingdom on the edge of collapse.
And a danger that even Landreo is watching carefully.
As the four are pushed beyond their limits, they begin to learn that real strength isn't simply about becoming more powerful. Sometimes, strength means choosing what—and who—you will stand in front of.
But every choice has a cost.
And when the Dragon King's final choice changes everything, the four friends are left carrying something they never expected to find.
Something alive.
Something ancient.
Something the enemy may already be searching for.
The Dragon King has fallen.
Now the question is: what will they choose to carry?
