A humorous stand-alone spinoff of the Frick and Frack series, The Adventures of General Tommaso Fullari: A Tale of Tomfoolery recounts an old man named Terry telling a young infant Mary about the whimsical story of the retired Italian general Tommaso Fullari, who makes a voyage by land and sea to attend a friend's wedding. Not much goes well during Tommaso's trek, but his easygoing demeanor always assists him, and so does a pig that is a descendant of a hammy regal family.
