Fitzwilliam Darcy has long believed that his fortune makes genuine affection impossible.

Then Elizabeth Bennet mistakes the mud-streaked gentleman for a Netherfield stablehand—and, seeing an opportunity to put his suspicions to the test, Darcy does nothing to correct her.

As "Will," he discovers a freedom he has never known and a woman who seems to value the man rather than his name or the promise of a wealthy estate. But what begins as a harmless deception becomes increasingly dangerous as affection deepens and the truth grows harder to confess.

What will Elizabeth do when she discovers who Will really is? And can love survive a lie that should never have been told?

Mistaking Mr. Darcy is a sweet, low-angst Pride and Prejudice variation featuring mistaken identity, secret courtship, romantic deception, and a guaranteed Darcy and Elizabeth happily ever after.
