When a terrible fire destroys their grand London home, three spoiled city children—Cyril, Melisande, and Roderick—are sent to live with their uncle, aunt, and cousins at the bustling Mistletoe Farm. Accustomed to a life of luxury, fancy clothes, and easy routines, the city siblings are utterly shocked by the muddy, hardworking reality of country life. Their cousins—Jane, Jack, and Susan—are strong, capable, and have absolutely no patience for the complaining and lazy attitudes of their new houseguests. As tempers flare and misunderstandings multiply, the peaceful farmhouse quickly becomes a battleground of clashing personalities, endless chores, and hilarious rural mishaps.

Despite the rocky start, the harsh but rewarding realities of Mistletoe Farm slowly begin to work their magic on the city children. From learning how to care for the farm animals and riding horses to helping with the exhausting daily harvest, Cyril, Melisande, and Roderick are forced to roll up their sleeves and prove their worth. As the seasons change, the bitter rivalry softens into a grudging respect, and the divided cousins must learn to work together to overcome the daily challenges of agricultural life. Packed with timeless lessons about teamwork, humility, and the beauty of nature, this classic countryside tale is a heartwarming journey of growth and family bonding.
