They’ve spent years trying to beat each other. Falling for each other was never part of the game.
Marcus Kane is controlled, calculating, and determined to be the captain his team can depend on. Phoenix Petrov is everything Marcus finds infuriating—cocky, provocative, impossible to ignore, and captain of the rival team standing in his way.
Their rivalry has always burned hot. But when hostility crosses a line neither of them expected, what begins behind closed doors becomes harder to dismiss as just another form of competition.
Phoenix refuses to be someone Marcus only wants in private. Marcus knows exactly how much they could lose if the wrong people discover what is happening between two opposing NHL captains. With the media watching, their teams demanding loyalty, and every encounter carrying consequences beyond the ice, keeping their relationship separate from hockey becomes increasingly impossible.
Because the real danger isn’t getting caught.
It’s realizing that somewhere between the rivalry, the secrecy, and the fights they never learned how to stop having, they’ve become something neither man is willing to lose.
ICE COLD HEAT is an enemies-to-lovers MM hockey romance featuring rival captains, a secret relationship, opposites-attract tension, hurt/comfort, sharp banter, and an earned happily-ever-after.
