How Are You?
You Are Seen, You Matter, You Are Not Alone

Somewhere, right now, someone is asking you how you're doing, and you're about to say fine.

You already know that isn't the whole truth. Maybe you've been holding something heavy for longer than anyone realizes. Maybe you're exhausted from staying strong, tired of performing okay, quietly carrying a grief no one sent flowers for, or a dream that didn't turn out the way you planned. Maybe you're not even sure what's wrong anymore, only that something feels different than it used to.

How Are You? is not another book demanding you fix yourself faster. It is a gentle, honest companion for the moments you don't have to explain yourself to anyone, including this book. Written in warm, conversational chapters, it walks alongside you through the weight of pretending, the exhaustion behind staying strong, the grief that hides in ordinary days, and the quiet courage it takes to simply keep going when nothing feels resolved.

This book will not rush you toward a tidy ending. It will remind you, page after page, that small steps count as real progress, that hope can be practiced even when you don't feel hopeful, and that you are allowed to not be okay without that meaning you've failed at anything.

And if your life happens to be going well right now, this book still has something for you. It is an invitation to look around with kindness, to notice the people quietly struggling behind their own version of fine, and to become someone's honest question, asked and truly meant.

No matter what season you're in, this book meets you there, without judgment, without a rush, and without asking you to pretend.

If you've been carrying something you haven't told anyone, this is the book that finally asks, and actually waits for your answer.

Because you are seen. You matter. And you do not have to give up.

Open the first page. Let someone finally ask.
