Dating is murder. Literally.

Nina Voss is done with bad dates. A true-crime researcher with a thirty-minute rule and a sharp eye for red flags, she has had enough of men who lie, order for her, and call their exes crazy. But when her date at a dive bar ends with a knife in his back and a note that says Date One, Nina realizes her love life has become a serial killer’s favorite game.

Someone is hunting her through the dating app Swiped. Someone who knows her favorite drink, her best friend’s name, and the darkest corners of her past. Someone who is counting down ten dates—and every man she meets is a target.

As the bodies pile up and the notes keep coming, Nina is forced to team up with Detective Cole Mercer, a sharp-tongued cop who is equal parts frustrating and impossible to ignore. To catch the killer, she must keep dating, keep running, and keep pretending she isn’t falling for the one man who might be next on the list.

How to Kill a Guy in Ten Dates is a razor-sharp slasher rom-com that blends horror romance, dark romantic comedy, and genuine suspense. For readers who like their love stories with a body count and their final girls with a dark sense of humor, this genre-blend is the perfect bad date gone worse.
