The adventures of Maia, Amélie, and Cassandra continue in Marama Summer, where they are beset by natural, as well as man-made disasters, illness and even death, as they strive for love and independence.

In this second installment of the Tortue du Soleil series, the three women, whose paths first crossed in Tortue du Soleil, are once again thrown together by circumstance and happenstance.

Maia struggles with her relationship with René, as she works to establish her own clothing line; Amélie has found a home on the island of Rangiroa, but love remains illusive; and Cassandra tries to convince herself that she is happy just being a wife and mother.

Marama Summer sees our three heroines come into their own, fighting and winning life's battles, which only season and strengthen them for the travails they will face in the third installment of the Tortue du Soleil series, Atanua's Sunrise.
