What happens when a woman is prepared to serve, yet the doors of ministry remain closed?

In God's Woman Triumphant in Ministry: Called, Equipped, and Qualified, Dr. Glenva Lankford explores the spiritual, emotional, and institutional barriers that women encounter while pursuing leadership in the church.

Through biblical analysis, historical testimony, and theological reflection, she examines the role women have played in advancing God's work across generations. She also addresses passages of Scripture used to restrict female leadership, encouraging readers to consider their historical context, intended meaning, and relationship to the broader message of the Bible.

The book gives careful attention to personal challenges that can develop when purpose meets opposition. Fear, discouragement, self-doubt, isolation, and the pressure to remain silent can affect even the most committed believer. Dr. Lankford offers guidance for confronting these struggles with spiritual maturity, discernment, and courage.

Readers will gain a deeper understanding of:
Biblical examples of women who served with authority and faithCultural and institutional practices that limit participationThe importance of spiritual preparation and responsible leadershipHow to respond wisely to resistance and unequal treatmentThe role of pastors in identifying and developing gifted individualsPractical ways to move forward with humility and confidence
Reflection questions, Scripture meditations, personal exercises, and prayers help readers connect the teachings to their experiences and responsibilities.

This book also challenges church leaders to evaluate whether tradition, bias, or selective interpretation has prevented qualified individuals from contributing fully. It encourages pastors and congregations to create environments where gifts are recognized, developed, and used responsibly.

God's Woman Triumphant in Ministry is written for women seeking direction in Christian service, pastors responsible for developing leaders, and believers interested in a thoughtful biblical discussion of equality within the church.

With conviction, Dr. Lankford invites readers to examine long-held assumptions, prepare faithfully for service, and participate fully in the work God has placed before them.
