Two brothers. A quiet town. An inevitable end.

Jacks and Shacks don't rush. They drift into forgotten towns, blend into the background, and wait. They help fix broken doors, skip stones with lonely kids, and listen to the hopes of strangers planning futures that will never arrive.

They aren't there to disrupt. They are there for the completion.

*The Happy Murder Files: Episode One* is a sparse, hauntingly quiet exploration of inevitability, mercy, and the silent spaces left in the wake of transition. Written with the minimalist tension of Raymond Carver and the existential dread of modern noir, this novella introduces a duo whose work is executed with gentle, devastating precision.

They leave no trace, save for the lives they rearrange. And when the cycle closes, nothing follows but the static on the radio.
