The Richest Man in England is a romance and family drama by Siyabonga Victors Simelane that follows Senzo Sibiya, a young South African man who leaves his pregnant girlfriend Ayanda behind to seek work on a dairy farm in Yorkshire, England.

What begins as a story of sacrifice and long-distance love takes an unexpected turn when Senzo meets Luthando, another South African immigrant. After Senzo suffers the devastating loss of his unborn child with Ayanda, Luthando makes a radical proposal: instead of choosing between the two women he loves, he should marry them both.

The novel chronicles the building of this unconventional polygamous family—navigating cultural traditions, bureaucratic challenges, and personal grief—as they establish a restaurant and art gallery in England. The story culminates in a double miracle when both wives become pregnant with twins, ultimately making Senzo the father of four children and, in his own eyes, the richest man in England.

At its heart, this is a story about love that refuses to be limited, resilience in the face of loss, and the idea that true wealth lies not in money but in family, connection, and the courage to build a life on your own terms.
