The Eighth Cross is a gripping crime thriller set in the small Texas Panhandle town of Dalhart, following Police Chief Jacob Croft and Medical Examiner Dr. Rachel Bishop as they investigate a series of coordinated bombings that begin with the destruction of the town's hospital.
When a massive explosion tears through Dalhart Memorial Hospital, Jacob Croft—the town's newly appointed police chief still haunted by his failed marriage—discovers a cryptic note in the hand of a dying security guard: eight crosses marked on a map, with one circled in red. As Jacob and Rachel race to prevent the remaining seven attacks, they uncover a conspiracy far larger than a single bomber's revenge.
