Book Description
Competitiveness, Resilience, and the Sustainability Nexus for a Sustainable Future
What if competitiveness, resilience, and sustainability were not competing goals, but the three essential pillars of a thriving future?
In a world of climate volatility, technological disruption, and social division, traditional approaches to development are failing. We pursue growth at the cost of stability, and build resilience without the ability to create value. This fragmented thinking leaves our organizations, communities, and nations fragile.
Competitiveness, Resilience, and the Sustainability Nexus offers a practical and integrated framework for a new era. Drawing on decades of experience in international development, author Dorendra Bahadur Thapa presents a powerful argument: true and lasting success comes from building systems where economic dynamism, adaptive capacity, and long-term stewardship reinforce each other.
This essential guide provides leaders, policymakers, and changemakers with the conceptual models, practical tools, and real-world case studies to navigate complexity and build a better future. It is a roadmap for competing smarter, building resilience, and sustaining the future for generations to come.
