"People of the sun ... no one lives to tell ..." — Those were the dying words of an explorer who emerged from the jungle's darkest regions. Then something about gorillas and ancient ruins. The man's colleague mounted an expedition, begging for Rex Brandon's help.
As a geologist and big-game hunter Rex Brandon's reputation was international. And Africa was his speciality. Out in the vast dark jungles, on the high veldt, in the steaming swamps and crocodile-infested rivers, the name of Brandon was known and respected. Brandon was always ready for profitable adventure, but his quest for the 'Casket of Truth' would be fraught with treachery.
