Dorothea Rochester commands Robert Jennings with a low, throaty voice and leather gloves that promise discipline for every hesitation. His steady eyes and the rhythmic drag of his limp across the floor betray the craving for surrender he has long denied, drawing them deeper into the forbidden exchange inside her private office.

She requires his obedience to secure her control over the family business, but each order risks cracking the walls she has built against abandonment. Her gloved hand at his lower back settles every argument in that office. The next command turns him to the desk.
