She thought she had finally escaped him. She was wrong.

For months, Julie has been rebuilding her life after escaping Justin, the man who controlled her, hurt her, and nearly destroyed everything she was.

She moved away. She found a small apartment. She got a job at a quiet convenience store along a lonely stretch of highway.

She thought distance would keep her safe.

Then, one night, a stranger walks through the doors of the store.

For one terrifying moment, Julie thinks she is seeing Justin.

Then she realizes the man outside really is him.

But Justin isn’t supposed to be free.

His sentence was supposed to keep him away from her for years. Somehow, he’s out—and he’s found her.

When Julie discovers her car has been sabotaged, her phone is useless, and Justin is waiting outside the store, she realizes this isn’t a coincidence.

He’s planned everything.

As the night unfolds, Justin slowly strips away every illusion of safety Julie has built around herself. Locked doors aren’t enough. Distance isn’t enough. Running isn’t enough.

Because Justin doesn’t simply want Julie back.

He wants her to believe that everything he did to her was her fault.

Trapped in a deserted diner with the man who has haunted her every waking thought, Julie faces the one question she has spent months trying to avoid:

How far will she have to go to finally be free?

An intense psychological thriller about obsession, control, survival, and the terrifying consequences of escaping the person who refuses to let you go.
