In Mati, a first son is never just a son. He is the return of the ancestors.

For thirty years, Robert Mutanga carried a silent, dying promise: Bring me back.

So, when his son Egbe is born after two daughters, the village erupts in celebration. The heir has arrived. The Oracle has returned.

But the child they prayed for grows up trapped in a shadow.

Praised as a prince, burdened as a vessel, Egbe is loved by an entire village and truly known by no one. While his father views him as

the fulfillment of a legacy, Egbe feels only the suffocating weight of a life already written for him.

As village rivalries flare and ancestral demands tighten around his throat, he is forced to face a choice: honor a dead

man's promise, or step into the unknown to become the man his own name was waiting for.

UNSEEN is a powerful, cinematic story rooted in Cameroonian village life—an exploration of fatherhood, identity, and the quiet

courage it takes to break ground on a compound of your own when the old one has no room for who you are.
