December evenings are long and the child will not sleep, because the waiting is the best part. Three stories for the three nights that matter most in winter.

The littlest candle on the Advent wreath cannot wait her turn and lights herself too soon. On Christmas Eve, Jake flies off on a cardboard sledge to bring his friend the comet a present – and arrives with an empty box. And on New Year’s Eve he meets an old tower clock who fears midnight, because her hands go back to the beginning.

Three stories of twelve painted pages each, a few minutes apiece. For children aged 5 to 7, written to be read aloud.

Jake’s Adventures 4, 5 and 6 – the whole winter trio together, for less than two separate books. One for Advent, one for Christmas Eve, one for the end of the year.
