When eleven-year-old witch Hazel Moon moves to the ordinary town of Oakhaven, she misses her old witching village where magic was a part of everyday life. In Oakhaven, the rules are strict: never reveal magic to regular humans and don't make human friends. But when Halloween arrives, Hazel sees her chance to blend in by wearing her real witch robes and heading out to trick-or-treat with Maya, Lily, and Sophie.

Finding friendship for the first time in weeks, Hazel is eager to keep her new friends, even if it means hiding who she truly is. But between accidental magic, her talking cat Barnaby speaking up, and a broken sandal emergency that forces her to cast a spell, Hazel's big secret is finally revealed. Terrified that being different will push her new friends away, Hazel discovers that true friends accept you for who you are, magic and all.

Hazel's Halloween Secret is a heartwarming tale about friendship, staying true to yourself, and finding where you belong.
