Obsession with My Enemy follows Calista Wren, a determined journalist who has spent eight years searching for the truth behind her brother Kael's death aboard the Meridian. Convinced that powerful businessman Rhydian Voss was responsible, Calista has built her life around exposing him.

On the anniversary of Kael's death, she unexpectedly encounters Rhydian at her brother's grave. His cryptic words make her question everything she believed about the tragedy. When Riven Orsay, Rhydian's trusted associate, secretly warns her to be careful, Calista realizes that someone powerful wants the Meridian investigation to remain buried.

Her search takes an unexpected turn when Owain Pryce, a former crewman connected to the case, reveals that Kael may have been framed. Before disappearing from her life, Pryce gives Calista a letter Kael wrote shortly before his death—possibly containing the first real clue to what happened that night.

As Calista digs deeper, she discovers that Rhydian may not have been the villain she believed him to be. But the closer she gets to the truth, the more dangerous her investigation becomes—and the more difficult it is to separate her hatred for Rhydian from the attraction she has spent years refusing to acknowledge.
