What if the memories that made you human were the very thing keeping your kingdom alive?

For three centuries, the people of Veyra have lived beneath the Veil—a vast silver barrier said to protect humanity from the monsters that destroyed the old world. Every citizen must surrender one memory each year to sustain it.

Love. Grief. Childhood. Family.

One memory at a time.

Seventeen-year-old Elian Voss has never questioned the system. As an archivist inside the Ministry of Remembrance, he spends his days cataloguing the memories sacrificed by others.

Until he discovers one that should not exist.

A forbidden memory belonging to his dead mother.

Inside it, Elian sees something impossible: an open blue sky, a living dragon, and his mother speaking words that could destroy everything he has ever believed.

Elian must never belong to the Crown.

Suddenly hunted by the kingdom he once served, Elian is forced into the forgotten tunnels beneath Veyra, where a hidden resistance reveals the truth.

The world beyond the Veil is not dead.

The dragons were never the enemy.

And the Crown has been stealing far more than memories.

Now, with the kingdom's magic beginning to fail, King Vaelor is preparing the Great Offering—a ritual that will erase the memories of every child in Veyra and condemn an entire generation to lives without identity, love, or past.

Elian has only days to stop it.

But buried beneath the royal palace is an ancient secret powerful enough to shatter the Veil forever.

A dragon who remembers the world before the Crown.

A mother who may still be alive.

And a truth the kingdom has killed millions to forget.

To save Veyra, Elian will have to decide what is worth remembering—and what he is willing to lose to give an entire civilization its memories back.

The Kingdom That Forgot the Sky is a gripping dystopian fantasy filled with forbidden magic, ancient dragons, stolen memories, rebellion, hidden history, and a fight for freedom in a world built on forgetting.
