This story is a work of speculative historical fiction. It begins with real names, real offices, real memoranda, and real national traumas, then moves deliberately into the shadowed space where rumor, secrecy, and imagination have always gathered around power. "The purpose of the novel is not to present a historical claim, but to explore a question that history often leaves behind but always exists in our imaginations: what happens when secrecy outlives the emergency that created it? In this story, hidden files become weapons, official language becomes camouflage, and the struggle for truth is less about disclosure than about whether anyone is still allowed to ask the right question."
